Our Leadership
Owners Matt and Bonnie Goldberg have decades of experience in, and a true calling for helping seniors. And for the Goldbergs, home health care is personal, having cared for Matt’s parents prior to their passing. They know firsthand the challenges families face in managing the aging care process, as they’ve lived through it themselves, and they work hard to make this process as simple, seamless, and straightforward as possible.
Matthew Goldberg
Matt started his career as a sales agent at Metropolitan Life and New York Life. After an award-winning career as a producer, he transitioned to sales management and built successful agencies in Arizona, California, and New Jersey. From there, he assisted in building a successful national marketing organization based in California, before founding Affiliated Mortgage Protection (AMP). While Matt took care of his clients’ finances and revolutionized the financial services industry, he felt called to bring a fresh approach to health care and to give back to his community. Matt has been married to his wife Bonnie for almost 40 years, and has two daughters, Melyssa and Lyndsay, as well as a grandson, Landon. He enjoys tennis and is an avid reader, but his favorite pastime is spending time with his family.
Bonnie Goldberg
Bonnie is an experienced human resources coordinator and provides administrative support to Matt and the rest of the Nurse1 team. She is the moral conscience of the company, as well as a dedicated mother and grandmother with a heart of gold who enjoys spending time with her family as well as regularly playing tennis.
Care Team
Tamra Rivera, RN
Diverse experience in home care for the past 24 years, consisting of both field RN experience and various administrative roles. Tamra has also worked as an ER Nurse allowing this experience to help provide triage in the home setting. Extensive community knowledge of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, both personally and professionally. Tamra is also a mother to 5 children and truly enjoys helping others.
Amanda Solenberger
Amanda Solenberger serves as our Operations Manager here at Nurse 1. Amanda Solenberger is professional who maintains a flair for multi-tasking and fostering positive relations with clinicians, doctors, facilities, and office personal. Her background in higher education has afforded her a plethora of opportunities in relationship management, team building, and supervisory experience.
Amanda was born and raised in Deerfield Beach, Florida. She graduated from Deerfield Beach High and went on to attend Keiser University for 7 years and attained her bachelor’s degree in Health Management and her Master’s Degree in Psychology.
She gained most her knowledge holding a Managing position in the ER of Broward Health Medical Center. After 3 years of experience, she then transferred into Home Health and has been in this industry for 5 years now. Amanda is a team player, who works cheerfully and effectively within this community. Amanda has a heart of gold and has dedicated her knowledge and passion into the Nurse 1 Team.
Samantha Lockey, RN
Samantha Lockey has been a registered nurse for 7 years with many years as an assistant nurse manager in a hospital setting. She is originally from Orlando, Florida and attended the University of Central Florida right in her hometown where she obtained her Bachelor’s of nursing degree. Samantha is a driven nurse and is excited to be working with Nurse One Home Health Care as an RN clinical supervisor. She looks to further her education in the nursing field and also exceed in her role at Nurse One to help the company grow. Samantha brings positive energy to the business with a constant smile.
Maria Russo
Maria Russo has been in the healthcare industry for many years. She is originally from Long Island, New York and recently relocated to Florida. She enjoys spending time with her family and catching up with new friends. Maria is passionate and dedicated to her work and has joined the Nurse 1 team as the Private Duty Director.
